Why does what goes fwd only also go upward only; But what goes fwd + bwd also goes up + down?

These are all just relative terms. When you are looking up, a person in the opposit end of planet also will be looking up, but practically opposite direction of you. So it is only relative term, forward, upward etc to a particular reference.
