Mitsubishi FTO or not?

Hey guys i need help, i'm currently 17 and looking for my first car, while i was searching my eyes were glued onto a car called Mitsubishi FTO. But as i was reading i found out it was a Front wheel drive :(, i personally rather a rear wheel drive. So i was wondering if you guys could suggest some cars that are under 10 grand, RWD and very good looking, or tell me why FWD is good and why i should keep looking at FTO? Thanks!
