Studies show 3/4 of seniors prefer Paul Ryan plan to save medicare and social security. Why wont democrats?

GOP has outlined a great plan to save social security and medicare from being destroyed by Democrats. The GOP plan gives seniors an OPTION to use waivers to help buy private healthcare insurance which will take pressure off medicare and prolong the program. Democrats continue to refuse to sit down with GOP to fine-tune measures to save SS and medicare.
