Im babysitting and this one year old just took a fall help me please?

So I was on the floor and he was on the couch and reached fwd to grab this book and fell off the couch on the floor, the floor is carpeted and the couch is like 2 ft off the ground, I'm just rele nervous, I called my mom and she said he's fine cuz kids fall all the time but is it bad if I let him take a nap rite now cuz this morning he was so excited I was here that he didn't take a nap like his mom said he would and he's getting fussy so is it bad if I lay him down for a bit? And he will be okie rite?
